In a mysterious and surreal middle ground between Tehran and Winnipeg, the lives of several characters intertwine in surprising and mysterious ways. Negin and Nazgol, elementary school students, find a sum of money frozen in the winter ice and try to claim it. Meanwhile, Massoud guides an increasingly bewildered group of tourists around Winnipegβs monuments and historical sites. Matthew quits his meaningless job at a Quebec government office and sets out on an enigmatic journey to visit his mother. Space, time and personal identities intertwine, intertwine and resonate in a surreal comedy of distraction.
